Whats the purpose of cleansing? It’s not like it’s the funnest thing in the world to do, so there has to be a reason people do it. There’s actually several different reasons people do cleanses, but the main reason and why it’s so important is because it’s a way to clean out your body of all the processed foods and crap in it to help lose unwanted weight and fat that is hard to get rid of.

But also know, what we put into our body has everything to do with how our physical and mental state function. So, a lot of times when people struggle with losing weight, or even mental illnesses, chances are something’s in your body clogging your system and prohibiting it from functioning properly.

Now we all want to lose fat on our body, thats a no brainer. But lets talk about mental illness for a second. Depression and anxiety can be caused by two things:

  1. Through a series of events going on in ones life such as trauma, losing a loved one, or just life in general. Crap happens. Or…
  2. A chemical imbalance. People can have a “normal” life just like everyone else yet still struggle with depression and anxiety and don’t know why.

The second is a cause of a backed up system, and can be helped through cleansing. Trust me. You can research it for yourself as I have, but it also starts to ring as common sense that we don’t realize it is till we actually think about it.

So instead of going on medications, or drastic diets… a cleanse just might be what you need to fix yourself, whether physically or mentally.

Moving on. Out of all my research of cleanses, this by far is my favorite because it literally targets all the organs in your body which affect everything. I actually got this cleanse from the book The 7 Secrets of Healthy Happy People, which is an incredible book and source to all the healthy stuff you want to know about (I give it my approval stamp), and it’s very specific to targeting certain areas.

Below is a video I did going through the cleanse and my experience, explaining how it’s done, and how easy it can be for you to do! And then below the video is the outline of the cleanse itself.

30-Day Cleanse

(30-90 day cleanse, just repeat twice after 30 days)

**Note: throughout this whole 30-90 day cleanse make sure you are drinking lots of water – daily minimal intake should be your weight divided by 2 and in oz. (i.e. my weight is 125/2=62.5oz water minimum). To enhance the cleansing process, add a couple drops of lemon oil in your water (this helps!) Take it easy physically the first two days of the cleanse, but make sure to be exercising daily after that.

Day 1-2: Liver/Gall Stone Cleanse. This is the best jumpstart to cleansing your organs.

  • About 8am: Start the day with a bowl of fruit or veggies, or a fruit/veggies smoothie.
  • 10am: half a lemon, juiced, with 8oz water
  • 12pm: 8oz 100% pure apple juice with pulp included
  • 2pm: repeat lemon routine
  • 4pm: repeat apple juice routine
  • 6pm: take 6 detox Zendocrine capsules – this starts the detox breakdown in your organs
  • 8pm: 8oz lukewarm water with 1Tbsp Epsom Salt (I add 2 drops of Lemon oil to help with the flavor)
  • Right before bedtime: 1/2 C olive oil 1/2 C lemon juice
  • Go to bed and lay on your right side for at least 2 hours
  • First thing when you wake up repeat 8oz lukewarm water with 1Tbsp Epsom Salt and add a couple drops of lemon oil.
  • Continue back to eating food, drink loooots of water, and stay close to the toilet for the next 6 hours. 😉 this is the fun part!

Day 2-30: Organ Cleansing. This is for eliminating toxins in primary and secondary organs.

  • Zendocrine capsules and softgels daily with morning and evening meals
  • Taking Digestive Enzyme Complex – take 2 capsules with every meal including with snacks. This is for breaking down foods – very important and should be done everyday even when you’re not cleansing!
  • Micronutrient complex – take 2 of each at breakfast and dinnertime. These are balanced supplements for cleansing and natural weight release.

Day 2-30: Metabolic Cleanse. Increases energy naturally.

  • Add about 10 drops Slim&Sassy oil to your water daily or 2 capsules daily with food

Day 2-14: Lemon-Liver Detox Cleanse. Provides major cleansing in the liver.

  • Every morning drink 8oz of water, 1 lemon juice, 10 drops lemon oil, and 10 drops peppermint oil
  • Note: I typically combine the lemon liver detox and metabolic cleanse together throughout days 2-14.

Day 11-20: GI Cleanse & Candida Cleanse. Cleansing out the gut due to processed food buildup. Note that foods we tend to crave is what’s built up in the intestines, so cleansing it out with help remove those unwanted unhealthy cravings.

  • GX-assist capsules – take one with breakfast and dinnertime
  • Candida – only eat lean chicken and fish, eggs, lots of greens and vegetables, avocado, raw almonds/almond butter, olive oil, herbal teas, liquid stevia. P.S. salt and pepper, seasonings, and hot sauce are fine, your food can have flavor!
    The whole purpose of this cleanse is to get away from carbs, sugars, and most fats. Don’t starve yourself though. You still need food. The best way to do this is meal plan for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. This is crucial!
  • Ideas for breakfast:
    – Egg omelet or scramble with veggies
  • Ideas for lunch and dinner:
    – Spinach salad with stir fried veggies – eggplant, zucchini, squash, bell peppers, broccoli, etc. and chicken. Add avocado and/or tomatoes on top, and I used hot sauce on top as well to give a spicy flavor
    -Grilled chicken/tilapia and veggies
  • Ideas for snacks:
    -Veggie tray with guacamole/almonds
    -Mashed avocado with hot sauce
    -Celery with almond butter
    -Almonds – raw or soaked
    -Herbal tea with liquid stevia
    -Boiled eggs

Day 21-30: Probiotic Cleanse. Replenishing intestines with friendly flora.

  • Take the probiotic capsule morning and night, preferably with meals. Continue eating healthy foods – try to stay away from carbs, sugars, and unhealthy fats as much as possible, and continue drinking lots of water.

Day 31: start back to day 1!
